I thought there was a 2017 thread already, but I cannot seem to find it. So, this time a couple years back I was catching these at Boutilier's Point, I did not get out last year when they were running, but I am wondering if anyone has had any luck?

I started the 2017 thread a while ago but it seems to have disappeared. I was out toward SMB once or twice last year and had mixed results.

Took a walk out to EP last week and there was no sign of anything (and no one fishing).  Hopefully the heat this week will help and we'll see some mackerel headed in soon!

Out off West Ironbound and Mosher Islands last night.  Tons of tiny baitfish around on the sounder and visible on the surface but no mackerel there or at my dock.
