Hi guys. I grew up in Cape Breton but live in the valley now. I have driven to Halifax in the morning from time to time, and noticed the lake in the right side of the 101 inbound to the city. I never see anyone anyone fishing it, but thought I noticed a few fish breaking. Does anyone know anything about this like? Are you allowed to fish it, and what is in there?? A quick search revealed the name "Lacey Lake' as part of the Halifax water supply in the NS ACT as part of Pockwock Lake Protected Watershed.
