The results of the 2010 Survey of Recreational Fishing in Canada are in and despite the hurdles damaging the environment; recreational fishing in Canada has contributed 10% more than it did in 2005. According to the Survey.

Glad to hear that “Our government recognizes the contribution local fisheries make to the Canadian economy, especially in rural areas,” (Minister Ashfield) He went on to say, “We will continue to work with our partners to protect Canada’s valuable and natural oceans, lakes, and rivers for future generations.”
I wonder if aquaculture, eased Environmental Assessments and other industrial practices that are harmful to our sport will get harsher scrutiny?
