The first Learn 2 Fish starts on Monday the 30th of April, and May 1st this means that the main May stocking for St.Croix pond starts then and each week after for the month of may.Meadow Pond gets it's stocking soon which will be Rainbow trout.the fingerling fry stocking will be announced when we know the date. Excellant news for those that utilize the pond. Out of curiousity, who is responsible for coming up with the funds to place these fish there? Is it DNR (Inland Fisheries) who provide the funding for this stocking program or is it you folks at HWWA?
I keep my head held high and smile, because there are people who will kill to see me fall.

Inland fisheries supplies the legal trout species and or salmon that are stocked in various areas in our province.Many of the various Wildlife groups help in the release.Fishing is one of the most activly enjoyed pastimes in Nova Scotia and all 3 of the provinces hatcheries are kept busy especially this time of the year.All of NS hatcheries are available for viewing.
