That is a huge yellow for around here.
I have never caught one big enough to fillet.
I caught a 12" white perch last week.

Biggest one I ever saw was exactly 13" caught by a neighbour in Hebbs Lake early seventies. No idea of the weight. But there was no way it had a 10 inch girth.

10" girth is not as big as you may think... well it is I guess if you want to be literal... exactly 10"..lol.. my palm spread from the end of my thumb to the end of my pinky spread out is 10" on the dot.. it is basically what I use to measure fish while on the water... if I were to make a circle with my pinky and thumb, the hole or circle that I create is not that big... regardless... it is still a fat little fish.
