Hey Everyone,

So I would like to thank everyone who has posted information on this forum. I am relatively new to fishing (~4 years), and this is my first summer living in Nova Scotia. I have some experience fishing out west for Northern Pike, Walleye, SMB. So when I tried fishing here I was a bit out of my element trying to catch the native species, ie: trout.

Over the past few months I have been very frustrated with my outcomes while fishing. I was browsing through these forums and gained knowledge that has finally paid off I caught my first trout this morning on a newly bought super duper (99+ posts on a single lure, thing must be good).

Cheers

Congrats on your success.
I keep my head held high and smile, because there are people who will kill to see me fall.

Great job pijcarroll! Welcome to NS. You can't go wrong with a super duper, they work really well as does a spinner and a worm for trout,
Cheers!
