Was by my local lake today, fair amount of open water, and lots of spots wtih water on top of the ice. I'm sure there were parts that could have help up for fishing, but it seemed a little risky

I was out on Kinsac this evening, and I measured 6" inches of what I thought was clear good ice, and 1.5" of junk on top, with another .5 of slush. The water on top was freezing after the sun went down past the tree tops.

All of my stuff is by the door ready for the a.m.

Good, I just spent $40 bucks on junk food for us; pepponies, chips (normal and retarded spicy hot), pop, and I'll be making some sandwiches too.  Who is bringing the porta potty?

as of right now the tournament is still on!! but we ask people to stay away from culvert on the western side of the lake!!! there was a reported 8 inches of good ice and 2 inchs of white ice on top with a bit of water on surface! should be a good day hope to see everyone out there! we always stay on the side of caution, if conditions somehow change we will have to cancel but as of right now there will be a tournament tomorrow good luck everyone remember start time is 8 am and weigh in is 2 pm

Sorry for the delay,,we are going ahead with the event tomorrow.I was there today and when I left at 2:30 there was 8'' of clear ice, with 2" of white ice,and 1'' of water/slush,hope that freezes up over night but it is still mild out.Unless the ice gets real bad over night,we will still be having it.We are going to ask people to stay away from the colvert by the tracks to be safe.Hope to see you all there, and if you can try not to bring low denomantions of money for entry fee.

Thanks Jamie

P.S. we will also be up dateing everyone on the big game tomorrow as they happen,,GO CANADA GO
